High grade Organic Konjac is specially grown for us in Gunma Prefecture, Japan without the use of chemical fertilisers or pesticides.
The unique region has a rich and vibrant history of producing quality Konjac since the 1500s. Organic Konjac plants are rare and account for less than 1% of Gunma Prefecture’s Konjac production.
Our organically grown Konjac is cultivated in natural nutrient rich soil taking advantage of the power of nature.
The plants are nurtured in a balanced environment to bring out its natural vitality. We believe that producing the best Konjac sponges begins in the soil.
How to use these sponges
Step 1 - The surface of our wet sponge forms a slightly alkaline pH water layer. This creates a fine barrier between the skin and natural sponge fibres for a smooth glide and gentle cleanse.
Step 2 - The water film helps to remove grime and clear pores. The slightly alkaline water breaks down and neutralises acidic impurities on the skin surface and pores.
Step 3 - Gently pat dry with a soft towel. Skin feels smooth, refreshed and clean without requiring soap.
